What we offer

Materials Engineering Support for Industrial Wear and Component Performance

Failure Analysis & Root Cause Engineering

We investigate material and component failures to identify contributing mechanisms and support corrective actions. The review considers service history, loading, wear or fracture features and available material information. Metallurgical evaluation and structured tools such as root cause failure analysis, FMEA, fishbone analysis and the 5 Whys may be used where appropriate. Share photographs, operating history and existing inspection or test reports to discuss the investigation scope.

Surface Engineering Solutions

We help customers review hardfacing and coating options for surfaces exposed to abrasion, erosion, sliding wear or combined loading. Selection considers the substrate, wear mechanism, geometry, processing constraints and required dimensions. Review our tungsten carbide hardfacing and vacuum-brazed solutions, or send the component details for an application review.

Metallurgical Consulting

We support technical decisions concerning metals, heat treatment, welding and service-related material changes. The review can draw on material specifications, microstructural observations and available manufacturing or inspection records. Send the material grade, process history and technical question so the scope and required information can be agreed.

We deliver expert metallurgical support to help clients understand material behavior, performance limitations, and production-related issues.

This includes technical evaluation of metals, microstructural interpretation, heat treatment effects, welding behavior, and service-induced material changes. Our goal is to provide clear, engineering-based insight that supports better decision-making in design, manufacturing, and maintenance.

Material Selection & Optimization

We review candidate materials against wear, loading, chemical exposure, temperature, manufacturing constraints and cost requirements. The objective is to select a technically justified option for the application. Provide the current material, observed performance, component drawing and operating conditions to begin the review.
